For students that would like high-level instruction at low cost and cannot attend in person classes, we offer the online academy, a continuous weekly class for artists age 12-22.
This class allows students of all skill levels to build community, skills, and receive individualized technical and creative advice from the comfort of their own homes. Students may use any physical or digital drawing or painting materials for assigned projects.
Instructor Miles Lewis’ career has spanned commissioned illustrations and portraiture, live art, artist books, gallery exhibitions, fine art printing, and public artwork through 15 years of teaching experience with ages 5-85. He’s exceptionally positioned to make the most of a diverse online classroom.
Classes will revolve around 5 minutes of instruction with each student, providing an efficient and productive classroom critique setting for all involved.
Instruction will happen on Zoom.
Projects will be submitted by email.
In-class correction and demonstration will occur on Procreate.
